- When the infected (Rudi Sampat) faces the main character (Steven Nye) there is no sense of threat, we could show the threat by having a slow zoom in, which came to an extreme close up of his eyes.
- Our focus group liked the gun movement, they said it seemed realistic and well done. They also liked the Gun sound and said it was well edited and well timed.
- The focus group we showed our film said that the opening camera work was good with the slow pull away, but when the main character is on the ground some saw it more that he was dead than hurt. Although when he gets up it seemed it was a shock to our viewers.
- Some of the group said it would be more believe able if we brought in another infected to be dead in the background.
- The infected running seems to robotic or human - didn't seem he was infected, we could have the infected running in a more animistic fashion.
- When the main character notices infected some said there wasn't enough sense of fear, we could do this by zooming in on his face slowly getting his whole face in the frame then back to the infected.
- The titles seemed too squashed could of separated the actors and cinematography into 4 seperate frames.

Some of your 'improvements' can only be accomplished by re-filming, which you probably don't want to do. What are you able to improve through re-editing?
ReplyDeleteYour electronic evaluation is now overdue and your blog has not been organised into sections. Both need to be done by the end of next week at the very latest.
